Project Management
I served as the project manager on an initiative to create company procedures for another company within the organization, and it was a fantastic opportunity to network cross-functionally. Above is a sample of a roadmap matrix I utilize as a project management tool during ongoing initiatives. This is shared with all stakeholders and is a live document, creating real-time accessibility to project status and timeline to those who need it most.

Utilizing specialized editing tools in combination with Microsoft Excel, Word and Canva AI design, I incorporate visual references throughout procedures that add value to the written instruction.

Procedures: Technical Writing Literacy
I had the opportunity to educate this group on writing methodologies within Learning & Development, style guidelines, technical writing best practices with procedures to enhance internal operations with the goal to produce 11 refined procedures for internal processes, which we accomplished within the project timeline.
Here are examples of original procedure documents I received from the client next to the final procedure draft I created, which were eventually published to the Company’s SharePoint Hub.
An interactive Table of Contents paired with additional internal links for procedural navigation adds ‘quick reference’ value to employees.
Job Aids & Quick Reference Resources
Examples of quick-reference job aids I’ve created for end users and production/operations employees.
Leadership often found technical procedures too long to be of help to processing and phones employees. Managers would come to me as a thought partner to design a digestible solution for their employees.

Mind Maps & Flow Charts
I created this mind map in strategic collaboration with managers, experienced SMEs and the Audit team with the goal of providing clarity for a process for which processors were underperforming.
This section comes from a larger process-flow mind map, and included a higher level of detail for employees learning the task for the time.
Reference Guide
Here is a sample of a few pages from a Reference Guide I created, which incorporated concise technical procedural writing with supportive images and charts.
The technique of utilizing numbered sections on the image paired with corresponding numbered directions below provides a seamless ‘quick look’ value to busy employees.
